72 Hours in Seville

72 Hours in Seville

Seville was a brilliant little city with plenty to see and do for 3 days. Immerse in this wonderfully cultural city by wondering down to a cafe, and ordering an orange juice, iberico ham baguette and a coffee. Enjoy this under Seville's famous orange trees and blue skies, for the price of 4 euros (simple pleasures!). Watch flamenco dancing in the streets, wonder from tapas bar to tapas bar every evening, filling your belly with lots of treats.

If you are a foodie, I would definitely recommend Seville. For me personally the highlight of this trip was being able to eat a decent sized portion tapas for about 3-4 euros. Given the price we were able to try two tapas in each restaurant and go to about two to three restaurants a night.

Top sites to see:

1.) Plaza De Espana - Seville, built in 1928 for the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929. We spent a good few hours here, wondering around the canals, walking around the fountain, watching flamenco dancers, getting a boat ride in the canal and taking hundreds of pictures to try and capture the beauty of this square!

2. The Alcazar, a 16th century palace, with beautiful gardens and rooms

3.) Metropol Parasol - a wooden sculpture which has a rooftop walkway and viewing point
